Under 25 Yr olds buying '010 Camaro's

Have read a few threads here with people under 25 that are buying new Camaro's. Most have the means and a plan to pay for and have done their homework before buying and ensuring they are able to afford. Some have even saved for a few years and are putting large payments down before they buy.

At better than age 40, I have to say this is very refreshing and encouraging to read. Perhaps the next gen has a clue about financial credit, debt and responsibility more than they are given credit for.

Congratulations and good for you that fall into this category, you MAY just restore the economy it appears some of my age group screwed up (possibly out of greed) after all !!!

For you that fall into the age group, but not the 'plan ahead' category, you might want to take a lesson form your peers.

I just turned 26. I graduated in May 08 with my BS in Industrial Engineering and my MBA. I've been working full time since then. I bought my first house at the end of May. Hopefully the car will be in by mid to late September.

I am 22 and mine is on its way on a train. I was able to pay a majority of the car right away from savings. I was lucky enough to land a job right after grad so thats why I decided to get it. Only financing a small amount though. This is my graduation gift to myself!!

22 (23 in two days)...I have done all my homework on if I can afford this car! I will be graduating from college in December and will be commissioned as a 2d Lt in the Air Force. It will be a good chunk of each months paychecks, but the car is totally worth it. It is such a nice car, the only thing I worry about is seeing the Z28 and wishing I would have waited for it!!

I'm 25, and got my Bachelor's in Comp Sci. in December of 2006. I work full-time at a hospital, and paid off all my remaining debt before saving up for a good-sized down payment on my 2SS (Bday present to self )

Also going back this fall to start work on my Masters degree

I'm 23. I'm actually considering backing out of my order. Not that I can't afford the car. I can easily make the payments, and planned on putting down a little more than half when I got the car.

But, I've decided there are more important things that will be coming up sooner or later that I will need to buy. I've began thinking it's best for me to just start saving up all the money for this car and apply it to something bigger and better, and a little bit more worth it(such as a house one day).

I'm 1 month away from leaving my 20's - I could go for turning 20 again instead of 30 ^_^
