I am 6-0 but my upper body is long with short legs.My head rubs the roof too with the seat all the way down. I almost broke my neck a couple of times when I hit a dip in the road I did not see. :( But I do not care, I love this car!

Hi Chapinville

In NY, where I live, children under the age of 14 are NOT allowed in the front seat...also, what about the front passenger air bag...children sitting in the front seat in a crash where the passenger airbag has deployed have been killed...:(

I was just wondering... Can children under 14 not ride in a single cab pickup in NY?

I've also read somewhere that the car knows when their is a passenger and can sense (??) their heighth (again ??) and not deploy the airbag if it senses a 'little person'.

Passenger Sensing System uses the weight of the passenger and the position of the seat, not the height of the passenger. its on page 52 of the owners manual (:

From what I see most states don't have front seat laws and most of the ones that do seem to be at 8 years or younger. http://www.iihs.org/laws/childrestraint.aspx
That said, I am mainly talking a father-daughter Sunday drives, not drag racing. My daughter weights about 65-70 lbs and is not heavy enough to arm the air bags. Not sure what weight will? - think I read somewhere on camaro5 that it is 100lbs. Some one also made the comment I knew the passenger seat did not go up and down when I bought the car. Well, I ordered in March before they were even in production. I didnt have a clue they did not go up and down. I assumed they would... wish they would. Would I still have bought the car if I knew.. hell yes. I am just pointing out things that can be improved upon in my opinion. I am only one of about 30K, 2010 Camaro owners and I know I only have 1/30,000 of a opinion.
Not to mention, I am sure most of us bought the car sight unseen, no test drive etc. but our love for the product made us take a leap of faith and pre-order one. I am 99.9% Happy with my car. What manufacturer would'nt love that rating?
