Good luck. I feel your pain. I actually started the practice years ago of taking off my watch when I go to my garage. I have tight clearances in my garage, and it only takes a mini-second of a accidental brush with your wrist. Hopefully you should be able to polish the scratch down with an aggressive pad and polishing compound. Take your time and polish it in stages until the scratch looks presentable.

I know, rookie mistake with the watch thing. I take that off and my wedding ring now when I wash or do work on the car.

Follow the instructions, it works great on scratches and scuffs. You should be able to buy it at your local automotive store so give give it try.
