The higher up the food chain you are dealing with, the more accurate the info in theory. Find out who is the inventory manager or sales manager and work with him. He should be able to show you the GM system screens with his/her allocations and consensus #'s. Also, check your priority status on your workbench page related to your order. After that, you can pretty much work with the info available on Camaro5 and figure out your timetable.

First: Your dealer is probably not lying about not knowing how many he has next month. GM doesn't tell the dealers till a week or two in advance. 2nd. Best way to know if he has an allocation is have him do the workbench in front of you and if you dont have an order number within a week then chances are he doesnt

so if i go to your dealer in buffalo and hqe gives me a work bench order # how do i know if he really has allocation or not. Will he tag the order for production in front of me . I dont understand your pretty much saying any dealer can say they have allocation and give you an order number to make u think he does.. Thats some crap. pleaseeee explain this is getting more and more complicated.

Do apologize for misunderstanding. Our dealership doesn't even put in workbench until the allocations are up. Makes it easier for everyone I guess. Thinks for clarifying.
