Well today we put the 93 pump gas tune on and made 738 on 15 psi on the mustang dyno that I made 456 on stock. It's a safe tune that we could have added some timing a little more boost to but didn't see the point. Will be putting either race gas or e85 in next and should fly over the 800 mark and may scale back as it's an auto with the stock bottom end. It's nice to hit two buttons and go from 10 psi and 642hp to 15.2 psi and 740hp.

Very nice. I think you will be amazed at how it drives.

Thanks guys. I just went about building what I wish GM would have built. I think the blower is a fantastic option and works very well. I wanted to build a car that drives like stock, runs 9's, and can do well at the road course. Well, at this moment I have only tackled one of those. It's worth noting I did shed a few pounds and lowered my center of gravity a bit. Here are some numbers from my swap.

22.5 misc fittings, clamps, blow off valve, waste gates
28 drivers side turbo and adaptor
28.5 passenger side turbo/adaptor
23.5 front intercooler
11.5 oil return pump, misc pipes
114 lbs total

83 Blower, fuel rails, belt
24 Cooling system, pulleys, hardware and hoses
22.5 Cat exhaust pipes
129.50lbs total

Getting ready to go to the track. The power comes on much quicker with the TT which makes it harder to be progressive. The supercharger is more like a NA power curve. Can't say it isn't a total blast to drive but on street tires and low boost just slowly rolling into it and it's all over the place. Should be interesting at the track!

So I went to the track tonight to see what she would do. I put in manual one, spun off the line, short shift to second. The car takes off like a rocket hits third gear and lays over like a beached whale. 4th gear is even worse and I am slowly watching the speedometer climb.

It was too busy to get more passes but knew unless I figured out what happened it was irrelevant. Driving home I got on it in 4th and the car builds boost and starts spinning at 90mph(stock tires) shift to 5th and it layed over again.

After overthinking everything I remembered to check what the overboost setting was at on the boost controller. It was only .4 over my target. Things to learn after having supercharged cars for the last 20 years.

Can't wait to get back to the track and redeem myself.

I know this is a old thread but I've been curious about something. When converting a ZL1 to twin turbo, you have to add a intercooler. My question is, does the AGP intercooler and turbo piping cause issues with the ZL1s factory brake ducts?

Yes, you are forced to remove the brake ducts. Something else could be added and retrofitted to provide the same cooling effects as the factory ducting but I didn't pursue it as I road race my AMG E63 instead of my ZL1 because it is more balanced.
