You car looks great with the emblem removed! I have to agree with the others, loose the plate as that is the main item changing your front aerodynamics. If you go to a GOOD body and paint shop where they use enough material, let it dry completely and then sand you shouldn't have "filler gaps".

And that’s a flip-down license plate called a “show and stow”, I had to cut out a piece on that lower grille to mount it. I also taped and sprayed that upper grill.
