You can do what you want. I go to the guys in my town and it is only $15.65 list. And, if you know the guys like me, it was only $12.79 per light.

Electrical tape at the end and around the light to hold the pipe to the light.

Hey-I'm new to the forum- but I wanted to let you know- even though the lights #92238395 (blue) show back ordered. I contacted the dealership where my car is coming in - in a few weeks! (WHOO HOO!!!!) and if they enter your VIN number with the light order- you can get them within about a week..... or so I was told-- haven't gotten mine yet---

Also- I have been following this thread since you first started- AWESOME job!!!! Thanks! I am getting mine installed the day I get it at my local custom shop!!!!!

As you can see there are GM kits that will be out soon, You will need to buy this kit and 4 lights in your color from GM and 3 light pips from Digi-key, As for power id the doors that are on the dimer it is there you will need to splice in to the wire's in the doors i will get that and post it on hear over the week end for all.

About what size drill did you use?

Also, somebody asked but I don't think it was answered, how was the light tube keep in place behind the trim piece?

I got some parts ordered.

They held it in place with tape (and another cut out parts of the tabs to help keep it in a nice fit.

No idea on the drill bit size. But, I'm sure that when you size up the 5mm tube to a drill bit, it'll become pretty easy to tell the size of drill bit needed.

Seriously, is that the right size drill bit?..a 5mm?
