I am just sayin'..... part of bein a badass is feeling like you are a badass. If someone feels like a candyass, they are probably not a badass. As we may be getting your point, the car does not make you a badass, can you maybe see her point, ( or maybe it is mine, ) the color does not make you a candyass. Badass could be referring to the package of girl/ car/ personality and the expression there of. Not just that she could win UFC because she has a Camaro, pink or not.

Disregarding the semantics of the word "badass"...

In my opinion, the very fact that you are looking for a little push towards the V8 tells me that you really want one. Seems to me it comes down to options for you. You gotta think that the V8 will come with some standard stuff that would otherwise be options on the V6, and I would venture to say the V8 base trim will have most of what you want for about 30k.

So I think the question you have to ask yourself is would you really want something like...accent lighting or some other small things...and have a V6, or would you rather skip the options like that and have yourself and wicked fast pink over black V8 Camaro?

Do I like pink? Hell no. Do I care if you paint YOUR Camaro pink? Hell no, go for it (just try and keep the spray gun away from mine)! Embarrass some jackass in his red with white stripe typical-ponycar-paint Mustang. Do I think pink gives the car or brand any less credibility? Hell no. the chick with the pink Mustang killer.
