So a b8 is basically no stronger than a stock ls3 just 100lbs heavier? Am i missing something here? For the same price you could get a forged ls3 shortblock from texas speed

the b8 is designed to handle 8 lbs of boost whereas the b15 of course handles up to 15lbs, has forged crank, rods, and pistons. The b8 has forged pistons and powdered metal rods and nodular crank

The next step to safely shove out more power is a block upgrade. Sweet choice!!
Just because you have an LSX block doesn't automatically put you in another league lol. Sure the block will hold but more power = upgrading everything else and unless you are aiming for 4 digits the ls3 block would hold just fine with proper internals.

The oiling system in the LSX is also better, so its not just brute strength. Yes, the LS3 is awfully tough

The Lsxb8 and b15 are not new to ADM -

The b-15 has powder metal rods from Ctsv as well as the crank from Ctsv

B8 uses stock ls3 rods which are much lighter than Lsa rods.

Both use same forged 9:1 compression Pistons
