Awesome story Scott!!
I remember buying my 35th Anniversary back in 2002, I had been driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse before that, and the feeling I got when I finally sat down in her the first time and turned the key is something I didn't think I would ever feel again.... It really was magic... Then I saw the first new camaro in my dealers show room, and I fell in love all over again. I ordered one the next week, and got rid of my BMW M3 to make room in my garage. I'm hoping to get my car early next week, and I can't wait for the new camaro to meet "Dixie" my 35th, and welcome him (her?) home. I feel so sorry, i couldn't imagine losing our car, let alone you losing Thor. I hope he doesn't go to a bad owner, but to a great owner who will be privileged to be Thor's friend.

That was just mean. I think I started tearing up as soon as I read the title and it kept getting worse after that.
Scott, thank you for bringing such a great car to life again. I gotta tell ya, there were not any cars after the Grand National that I thought were very interesting... until I laid eyes on the 98 Firebird/Trans Am.  Fbodfather without Thor???...seriously, I feel like crying... Scott has so eloquently put into words how we all feel about OUR CAMAROS...  Can any of you imagine how you would feel if you had to give your "baby" back????...:( I don't want to even imagine how sad I would feel... Scott, thanks for sharing Thor with all of us, and thanks for all your Camaro enthusiasm that helped put our 5th Gen Camaros in our driveways... It is through you, that the dream came to life...you were a HUGE factor in the resurrection of the Camaro, and "this fan here", will be eternally grateful to you and GM, and Oshawa, and every single person that played ANY part in building THE BEST CAR IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE...

Okay, I read every word and loved it, excuse while I wipe a tear from my eye. It's just a car? I think not! Some folks don't get it, many others do. I sure do. Will your next car be a Volt? wow...just wow. that was an inspiring read. As you so eloquently put to words how we, the Camaro enthusiasts feel, for us I think it is strange that other people cannot feel the way we do over "just a car." Thank You sir, for you have helped us achieve our goal of owning the most awesome Camaro ever built. Good luck on your next car, here is to hoping it will be as inspired as the 2010 Camaro. Thanks from my family and us the Camaro enthusiasts.

I say we petition GM to let Thor stay! Curious, we have how many members on this forum? If everyone donated a couple bucks, can't you just buy Thor from GM? I mean we haven't even got him on the Camaro5 tshirt yet :(
