With those 3.91's, with a good launch and shifts, he should hit low 13's, I would think.

Hey does anybody know the 1/4 et for a stock L-99 Camaro? There a couple hundred pounds heavier than a M-6 LS, more or less, right?

Absolutely. I plan on taking it out next Friday, I really hoped to this week, but the track is closed.

Only thing that makes me sad is the heavy ass 20" wheels from the RS option is sure to slow me done some.

And it's not the shifter that sucks, it's the clutch! If the clutch grabbed faster when I release the pedal it would make a world of difference.
Nah, the clutch sucks too. But the shifter is all rubbery and spongy feeling through the mechanism . Especially in 1-3rd.

Maybe I haven't been rowing the gears hard enough but so far, knock on wood, my clutch has worked flawlessly

But did it? Did it really? haha
sounds like a lot of you guys with your bolt ons are pretty satisfied with how the cars run.

For the OP's questions with regards to bolt ons for the LFX. I put a VMAX Ported TB on and noticed slight improvement in initial acceleration and slightly better MPG, others have argued this, but for me it is true. I put on CAI cold air and think that is the single biggest improvement for me. I put Borla exhausts on & I like them better than stock, both for sound & maybe a little more flow thru. I also have an MGW shifter and love it compared to the sloppy stock shifter. Lastly, I added the throttle controller and usually keep it on 7. Best of luck with your mods.
