Docker, it all depends on the person's preference. The VTC is a simple throttle booster, it works fine with stock tuning and Overkill tuning. I make adjustments to boost the throttle within the Overkill tune. Those who get a VTC for a modest throttle boost setting will be happy with the tune without the VTC. Those who run their VTC on setting 9 (or whatever the highest is) to make the throttle super sensitive will probably want to keep and combine it.

Thanks, I have high flows and definitely don't want to go cat less. Not the ideal sounds for me. I'm talking more on the tuning side of things rather than mechanical.

My friend has a v6 mustang and is tuned and catless, and his as soon as you accelerate over 3,000 rpms and let go of the gas, it has a consistent loud pop that sounds like a gunshot lol I like it
