I'm assuming you have an aftermarket tune that removed the factory "powerhop" settings from GM that "tune-out" the wheel hop? You might want to consider jumping on the GM bandwagon and "tuning out" the wheel hop instead of mechanically fix it -

I agree with this drifting is so much funnier and such a real high. plus it actually takes skills to do (unlike going in a straight-line j/k maybe) , I use my GTO as a drift car and its great. Going to be doing the same thing with this camaro soon.

LOL..I know what he is trying to say..although he went about the wrong way saying it...and is a little off base in his assumption of what is happening...anway..go check out the LPE Customers thread and see the parts that a member ordered to help eliminate wheel hop...and after you install those..you should be able to drive around it

Unfortunately - it's true!! Along with ALLLLL the other torque management settings from the factory that most people remove - GM has a feature that you can "enable" or "disable" called "Powerhop". I assume it only pulls timing when it sense hop.... but still.... I would play around with the idea and "report back" with your findings!

Have you talked to Andy about the issue? What does he have to say about it?

All that work on the motor and no suspension work… Would you not want to try that first before selling your dream car??? Just does not make since to me.
