Congrats but knowing and seeing you on C5 and how much you track I would say you should have waited and got the ZL1 1LE....

Awesome!
Saw your identical car at 21st century muscsle car in Dallas yesterday sitting next to a Z/28. Have to admit, ZL1 looks really agessive/nice!
Hard call with them sitting next to each other. Let's just say I'm partial...

Have a great time w the new ride!!

Can't wait to hear a legit comp between it and the Z/28. Am sure it will be a fantastic car... congrats!!

And, as Urban Legend stated, happy to provide parking tips and for free too!

I would have leaned that way if the ZL1 1LE were offered in the 10spd Auto. With R comps, I think the performance will be close. It doesn't have the track appropriate spool valve shocks, but I like the adjustability of the ZL1.

Congrats on an amazing car for sure. I considered a 6th gen ZL1 before I bought my Z/28 but I just love what the Z/28 is. Now in a year or two I may look into the 6th gen car once I finish paying off my Z. Hope you enjoy it and have a blast at VIR! Can't wait for a review/comparison.

Maybe once the ZL1 1LE is out in the wild properly, say in 6 months time or so, Chevy Performance might release some of the parts from it as aftersales performance accessories similar to what to what they did with some of the 5th gen Z/28 parts.

If so you might be able to retrofit the ZL1-1LE DSSV shocks and wheel/tyre (tire?? ) package!

Look forward to hearing what you make of it.

Agree the 10 spd auto would be a must for me as well. If I am not mistaken didn't you have a Gen 5 ZL1 prior to the Gen 5 Z/28? If I am correct you can really give a true un-bias review of all the cars!

I just looked at the same car but a convertible (2017 ZL1 A10). I love the cars technology and the A10 is very impressive. I just may look at getting this car as well. I also drove a 2017 GTR and the seats did not fit my lats. I am 6' and 200 lb fit and just a no go. The fit and finish of the GTR is well above the ZL1 but the sound of the ZL1 and how it drives is just so much more fun. So, keep you posted what I decide to do as well.

Congratulations Stephen! The car looks awesome and I completely understand why you made the change. The extra HP will be nice and the creature comforts in the 6th Gen Camaro are really awesome - plus, the extra tech is nice too.

Good deal and once again, congrats on the new ride.
