Lexani custom shaves all of their wheels and these are shaved as close as possible while still clearing the brake calipers. With 295's on they will line up almost with the fender. I will have those on probably tuesday.
I was thinking of getting Lexani LX-15 as will but if I use 285s in the rear and get them custom shaved (still clearing the brakes) then how much do the wheels still stick out?

Nonsense. 315 wide tires fit a 2010 Camaro perfectly if you use the correct backspacing and wheel. Mine are dead even with the edge of the quarter panel, they do not stick out at all. The car above just has a completely wrong offset for a 2010 Camaro.

Here is how a 315 should fit:

please do NOT tell me about offset. The offset is fine, the 315's were a little too wide for the wheel and made a balloon effect. I like my wheels to be flush with the fenders, much like a super snake gt500. It called aggressive fitment. Please note i didnt even drive with the 315's. Thanks goodness I own two tire shops. I now have 295/35r20 on the rear, which i think looks much better anyways. A 29.2" tall tire is too tall for a lowered 2010 camaro. I threw in a pic of my challenger on 22" with 315's

Do you have a better pic down the side of your car? From that one pic, it still looks like the tires stick out. I understand completely about having the tires flush with the edge of the wheel opening, that is definitely the perfect look. How about taking a photo with a yard stick or broom handle like this, to show how flush they are with the top of the wheel openings? Maybe this angle is just off on the photo below. If you intended for them to stick out, no big deal. Some people like them that way I suppose.

What's 29.2" in height? A 315/35/20 should only be 28.7" (I do understand there are some discrepancies between size for each manufacturer). Those still look like they stick out. As posted previously there is proper fitment for a 315 in the back of a 2010 SS. Few examples have been posted about how it "should" be done.

On a 10" rim they will baloon a little as said but should look THAT off. Regardless of the rim size with the right offset the tire should still be within the wheel well...Unless you planned otherwise...

I had 315s on my Mustang with EXTREMELY stiff suspension (road race car) and I cut into the tires a few times before rolling the fenders. The worst one was pulling into a sloped parking lot, which is surprising considering what I did to that car on track! No matter how stiff the suspension is, if the tire sticks out past the fender, you'll hit it at some point. If it sticks out enough, you could damage the fender as much as the tire.

Looking at the second pic you posted, your offset is definitely off if you're going for it to be flush with the fender. The tire itself looks fine, but the wheel is sticking out past the fender.

nice choice on the suspension and wheel, although it does look like the offset is not accurate especially on the rear. Still looks very nice though

I contacted Lexani because I love the looks of these LX-15s and really wanted to order some. Their expert told me they must shave these wheels to a 15mm offset to clear the SS brakes. This was a big disappointment to me because that is too far outside the recommended range of 34-45mm that should be used on the Camaro. With a 15mm offset, they just stick out too far. I realize the OP is happy with the wheels and that is good; I hope they don't cause problems. But, I will pick another wheel.
