Too funny.... yet true!!

I really want to see the Z28 but am not opposed to the SS. I don't want to take the time to build one, just would rather spend the money and buy it.

I am all for the RS package but would like to see it badged RS/SS with SS stripes. Cyber Gray and Silver stripes.

I really think we are are long ways away from seeing striping and badging options but maybe we will know more at the the August Brickyard evetn.

but if you choose the SS with an RS appearance package is your car badged with the RS or SS? Or does that only apply to an LT which does not have badging.

I know it sounds stupid..my dad grew up with an SS and I have never been big on badging, but if the V8 must be badged, id rather have the SS
It's been stated that if you get the RS Package on an SS the 'SS' badging will be red. If you get an SS without the RS Package the 'SS' is silver. No 'RS' badges on the SS models at all.

Depending how long we have to wait for the Z28, I might go with the RS/SS LS3 6 Speed... Man that flows of the tongue nicely…

An SS badge will be either black or white, depending on the exterior color. However, if you add the RS package to an SS, the SS badges will be red (Like an RS badge) and not black or white.

I love being unique: 3.6L DI V6 300hp LS w/manual 1 1.30%

As close to a 300hp stripper model as I can get. Love all the fancy new interior touches but, other than the premium audio, I don't see much value in buying more 'things' that will break/die after the warranty is up.

Don't even want the RS package...
Spoiler: aftermarket
Wheels: aftermarket Although, what the heck are 18" Heritage steel wheels?
Taillights: don't really want to pay extra for something I'll never see
Halos: Might get these from the dealer parts counter at a later date

you can get the RS package for every model except the LS.

if you get it for the SS, the SS label will be red instead of white if I'm not mistaken.

I just love driving stick - so much more fun than any auto I've driven, including a 2002 camaro z28 auto. Plus, chevy almost certainly has to post their "guesses" at higher than normal numbers. That means that in the manual, they have to expect slow shifts or shifts at the wrong points, but in the auto thats all done buy the computer. Much easier to guess accurately in the auto.
