You're welcome for the pictures, and I didn't think the taillight was that much of an interesting feature to take a pic of with the hundreds of other pictures that people have already taken of the taillights.

The front looks great and keeps the same look in my opinion of a smiling bumblebee.
Only reason I got the invite is because I asked to be on Scott's mailing list. I also run a michigan based camaro and firebird website, so I guess that helps haha. Quite honestly, though, just being in Michigan is the biggest bonus because word gets around and then you get to go to cool stuff like this!

Overall the car looks a lot smaller. The rear end looks like it's a lot better for visibility. The rear taillights look pretty much how they do in any of the pictures and I think it'd be cool to see some aftermarket pieces to fit in there.

I just wish I remembered to take my camera's memory card so I could've taken high res images.

Why don't they ever open up the hood, so we can check out the engine bay?

You'd think they would have bothered to properly air up the rear tires since the message center is telling them somethings not right.

Congratulations and thanks for the great pictures!!

Haha, that was actually the rather funny part. That particular vehicle was a v6 bodied vehicle, but the engine didn't match the car. They couldn't pop the hood because whatever v8 engine they had in there (in my guesstimate) was not an L99 or an LS3. I say that because if it were the L99 or LS3, then no big deal if they pop the hood and show it off. Whether it was just something they had lying around that they decided to throw in there or whether it's an engine they're testing to bring out in a couple years, not sure.

At one point, someone asked "Does the hood open?"

Scott replied, "Yes, yes it does.." as if he was ready to pop the hood and one lady with GM swooped in and said "No, Scott, no it doesn't..." before anyone asked him to open it.

Really, wow! On another thread we had a video clip of that car and there was some question about if the exhaust we were hearing was v6 or v8 and the general concensous was v6 because of the badging and brakes. I guess we were wrong.

Yeah, I dunno. Scott's exact words were "v8 in a v6 body"

I assumed it was the 6 because it didn't sound like the LS3. If it's a completely different engine, then I was right it wasn't the v8. I guess it's a v8, just not either of THE v8s. =P
