If you read the Z/28 section redknight, you'd see there was a decent amount of people who wanted the Z/28 to be the TT V6 Leno Concept. Also, some wanted just a slight power bump (slight being around 450 HP), better suspension, lighter weight, etc.

To the best of my knowledge, all of them can be picked up at the dealership.

Most of them are stock unless noted on the time sheet. The ACR, for example, that was in first place had more agressive gearing.

I thought that stuff was revisions from the previous model year. They are either standard or options on a new Viper. From autoblog:

The track-bred ACR models get a new short-throw shifter, and new aerodynamic tweaks to the rear wing lower drag while improving downforce (top speed bumps up to 184 mph on the ACR model).

Hold up here lol. Why do they specifically mention a Viper 1:33, a tribute to the Laguna Seca record setting viper... if they were just already options on the Viper, why did they have to make a whole new special edition out of it?

Because the special edition is cosmetic enhancements and they are trying to cash in on the Laguna success.

Ahh, i love Vipers, they dont really get the credit they desirve most of the time, like a lot of people say the Corvette is america's only sportscar well im sure the Viper's in there too, i love both the Viper and ZR1, it would be a tough choice for me on which to buy (given the choice) both are rare which i like, but i think i like the Viper just a tad more simply because of the lack of luxury...im getting annoyed at how all these companies want to brag about how much technology goes into their performance cars *cough cough GTR cough* in my oppinion it makes that car worse, id rather have a car that is pure driver skill than have a car with 23 computers basically driving the car for you...plus ive always hated the new trend of luxury/muscle, muscle is muscle, luxury is luxury, leave it that way, if you want a muscle car buy a Camaro/Challenger/Mustang, if you want a luxury car buy a Cadillac

As far as the Z/28 goes ive actually heard more from GM in the way of either an LS7 or LS9 as the powerplant than the LSA, just people are assuming the LSA will go into it because thats prety much the foregone conclusion on this site...not a bad engine at all but id still preffer the LS7 or LS9 above it so we dont have a re-badged CTS-V (plus with the luxury people want out of muscle cars these days it really WILL be a re-badged Cadillac, LOL!) XD
