I like the concept, but agree that the two are so close that there is not a huge lead on the concept. The concept was slightly wider, and lower, which really highlighted her hips, and the gas cap was noce too. However, the production car is sooooo close that I am very happy with the Production version and will be buying one regardless of any minor alterations. I really think Chevy nailed this car.

Thank you Chevrolet!

I'd have to say production. I was never too keen on a lot of things about the concept, most notably the proportions. The production car has slightly more favorable dimensions for a daily driver, and I think the interior is nicer, too.

I remember reading that the production is wider than the concept. However since the roof is taller, in pictures it makes it look less wide.. Correct me if I'm wrong..

I agree with this as well. The front in the production V6 looks better. However the rear and side-view of the concept win out..

production no doubt about it. The front of the concept looks too pointed in that pic. maybe it is just the angle, but the production looks more refined (as it should it is the FINAL production model(yes i know it could still change)and it should be more refined) I think the comments about extra head room and such come in too, but remember the V8 production has a better engine in it than the Concept

I voted for the concept. And please, let me explain why....

There's only one concept Camaro. And that's the one I saw at NAIAS in Jan 2006. Everything about it was perfection....or unequivocal, as I say...

It had no b-pillar, a gas cap placed on the correct side of the car and on the top of the quarter panel, the larger wheels, shorter roof, no rear bumer bulge and reverse lights.... It was, (in blunt words) B@D @SS.

Now, I'm not trying to take anything away from the production model. I think GM did a HELL of a job keeping it looking the same. And, I think it does look the same. You can't tell the roof is all that much higher. The things changed were little things....things that HAD to change. For one thing, I'll tell you the interior is FAR SUPERIOR in the production model. Oh yeah....no doubt. But, the concept's body is just pure beauty.....pure BEAUTY.

I 100% agree with this.. Also I don't want to take anything away from GM and the production model. We all knew it couldn't be exactly the same as that would require going against regulations and so forth.. I got to see the concept Bumblebee which was the Saleen built GTO, however its dimensions are identical to the actual concept. I fell in love with every aspect of the look of the Bumblebee Camaro. I might later on get a custom paint job with the Valspar Sunrise paint sometime down the road if it is not available in the Bumblebee package..However at this point, the production V6 does look great and the few minor gripes I have with it are just that...minor.. I do however have a gripe against the V8's front bumper which deviates drastically from the concept. Because of this the V6 prod Camaro looks better than the V8 in my opinion and is making the choice harder for me because I do want the V8.. I know most people beyond those enthusiasts that fell in love with the concept will notice differences or care. However we all have spent far too much time on here looking at concept photo's and some of us seeing the concept in person to boot to care about every little detail. I'll reserve judgment on the V8 because I might like the new look when I see it in person.. And worst comes to worst, I buy a new V6 front bumper for the V8 down the road as well..
