It's like House says "people lie".... buyers or dealers - doesn't matter. I found it funny b/c dealers are just as big of liars as a buyer....pots and kettles....

I think you have to go knowing exactly what you want and are willing to pay for it. This with any big ticket item. I think you have to be able to be ready to walk away. I think all this can be done very politely though.

Use to hang out on a car lot, and if folks pay wasn't tied to the number of sales then they could be honest.

Change the way the sales system is set up and that will change.

Until then, a sucker is born ever min and a car salesmen will screw em so he can feed his family.

I'd rather have a root canal done than buy a new car!

Even the no haggle lots here are crooks! Profit built in so the dealership makes money and the salesman makes little to nothing.

Actaully...I've never seen a dealership or car saleman that wasn't a little on the evil side...
