Interior colors are black, grey and neutral. There is also an orange accent package. The interior lighting is ice blue or if you buy the orange accent package you get orange interior lighting.

Hello to all and thanks for all of the great information.

While my purchase won't be decided by whether there is a built in nav it would be a major plus.

In my expedition I have the built in nav and in my wife's car we have a high end garmin that we use. The portability of the Garmin is nice, but except for the POI my built in nav is so much better.

It much cleaner appearance wise, plus the convenience of it always being there is fantastic since you never have to deal with forgetting it. There are a lot of other reason why I prefer built in as well, but I won't bore you.

And to people that say nav's are only for trips I have to say that they are fantastic for getting around traffic

Needless to say everyone has there own opinion and this is just my two cents. For me I prefer the built in, but I have friends who have there own reasons for preferring the aftermarket ones.

It's great to finally join the community and I can't wait till next year.
WELCOME ShowTime and thanks for your input

Keep the tidbits coming Scotty

HID, Tire Pressure Monitors, LS3, 6M, and 4 Piston Calipers - absolutely brillant! I wish they could offer two more things: HUD and Oil Life Monitor like the Acura TL has..oh well.

I know there's only 2 interior light colors, but does anyone know why? I'm wondering why they are only letting you pick 2 colors. And if you don't like those colors then your shit out of luck. Hopefully the aftermarket will have a way to change this. Or maybe they will offer more colors. Orange and blue are definately going against the color scheme I was going for.

The Oil Life Monitor is pretty much standard across GM's lineup. It's integrated into the Driver Information Center.

And a HUD is coming late 2009. For some reason, there's a delayed introduction...but it's coming.

it is better then the oil monitor that they have in the Colorado! People are still waiting for them to come on. I was taking my 05 Colly to a dealer for trade-in and on way there at close to 35,600 miles it came on for about 10 seconds and then disappeared.

The Vette and the SS come on like clockwork.

I have '06 Colorado and the change oil light just came on this week, 34,000 miles. It does not tell how many miles are left on your oil life, you just wait for it or change oil regularly like I have been doing.

On the '05 Duramax I had you could see how many miles the computer showed for remaining oil life. The nice thing is the computer monitors so many things it maximizes the life of your oil well beyond the old fashioned 3000 mile interval.

To get back on topic, I also hope we get the more sophisticated oil life monitor. Maybe it will be standard on LT and SS.

That was just how they had it on one of our sites...It was a CUT n PASTE... There may have been some formatting issues, but a few of the items listed seemed to be new content, so I decided to share it with you...

How items are going to be offered or work....my guess is as good as yours.

I'd love a GM Invite to the proving grounds!
