The bad news is that if they get this tax law passed here, then you can bet the other states will follow. Of course not every state is so far in debt like california is but I bet they would like more money from you.

It will depend on who is running the state. Find out if your leaders are of the notion that gov't can solve all your problems. Then vote accordingly.

That sucks. My favorite is still the import tax on american made tobacco. I am not a smoker but that one just makes me...because where does it end, maybe eventually they will decide thats a good idea for everything american made (whatever is left that is )

We already have it. You are supposed to report on your state tax form any purchases on line that you didn't already pay taxes on. Many of the companies I purchase from on line already have Michigan taxes added to the purchase.

Thats nothing, the geniuses in Sacramento are going to vote on eliminating the current gas tax in order to skirt prop 42 which dedicated the gas tax money to road work and infrastructure and replace with an excise tax free of prop 42 reauirements. Once again we're robbing Peter to pay Paul and Mary. Brilliant just brilliant

Many illegal immigrants who cannot afford basic preventative care will wait until their problem gets worse and go to the ER. After doing so, they will often not pay because they do not have the means to. This means the taxpayer foots the bill.

Also, I've read articles in the LA times... There are stories of some illegal immigrants going to state institutions (like UCLA) and getting full ride scholarships, yet they did not pay into the system. Meanwhile, they are taking the slot away from somebody who is actually paying into the system. This has caused an uproar in my local area.

In addition, those select few illegal immigrants who do somehow pay their taxes often make such little money that they don't end up paying anything, but in fact end up getting a refund. I again have seen this happen.

On a side note, I think that the country would not have to raise taxes as a whole if everybody actually paid their fair share. But, people will always try to evade taxes... and thus the IRS gets bigger!

That is one thing I'll say about this Camaro / Camaro5...I have gotten to meet some good people as a result. Every time we have a little get together around here, everybody seems to enjoy themselves and have a nice, relaxing time...there's never even been a single problem or argument. (knock on wood)
