I was glad so many of you could join us last evening --and you have no idea of how great it is to see the looks on your faces when you see the car for the first time -- and what a rush it was to see everyone just pack around the car when I drove it in with James Otto --

Scott, just wondering is this car going to be your fairwell from GM, or can we possibly hope that you stay around for a while longer. It would be one hell of a high water mark in a career such as yours.

Well, that is exactly what makes you -- you. That's good enough for us.

What city are you in now? I'm guessing San Antonio.

You need to take a break -- soon. Go fishing, skiing, golfing, WHATEVER!!!

You have done your part. The Camaro WILL sell.

Dude. Relax. Chill.

Zen-out.

Your work here, is done _for_now

make sense?

I hope so.

If not, give me a call. I can talk you through it. (if PM requested, phone number given).

Yup, he will still keep working, stressing, traveling. That's just "Scott."

But - I refer him to this:
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/wor...alance/WL00056

You are a human being. You need to "relax." Right?

RIGHT.

JDI: Just Do It.

Please?

Will there be a book written about the development of the Camaro like there was for the Corvette - All Corvettes Are Red, and the Solstice - The Pontiac Solstice Book?

I forgot thankyou Scott, I can't imagine what you've gone through bringing this car to us, fighting for it since '98 when you found out the gen 4 was being cancelled. I can't believe this car is for real it is the most beautiful car I have ever seen. There are no words for how much I appreciate what you have done for me and all other Camaro fans.

Thanks Scott....the wife and I had a great time just like Indy. Our daughter had an even better time. She got James Ottos autograph/pictures/guitar pick along with autographs of the whole band. We met Jolie Holliday and she got her Chevy backpack signed by her also. Sorry we couldn't stay until Sat. but we had to get back home and finish up the cleanup from the hurricane. Our yard is full of downed tree limbs and its killing the grass.
Thanks for everything Scott.

Thank you Scott. You don't need to participate on this board, or any others. But you still take the time. Your involvement is greatly appreciated by the enthusiasts at all levels.

AWESOME! I've read "All Corvettes Are Red" about 5 times over the years. It's one of my favorite books of all time.

I have this book about the 40 years of Camaro. It has a Forward by Ed Welburn

http://www.amazon.com/Camaro-Forty-Y.../dp/0760328161

It's a great book. I only wish I thought to bring it to Indy and have Scott and the GM team sign it.
