I have to agree with Nino SS. The timing retard shown on the blue graph is not optimal for stock hp ratings. For that reason I don't believe the gains are as big as claimed. I personally would have run until I got a good solid stock run and dyno graph before posting it. Now its just going to open the door for the nay sayers.

The gains look about as good as a good stock ported intake. I'm in no way stating that this mod doesn't work. I actually agree that it does and would like to know how much because was actually going to port my stock intake. Maybe I will go this route...

The car picked up 20+rwhp/tq from just the intake over just our tune. Find me another intake that makes 20rwhp from just the intake, no timing changes, same air fuel, etc. Most are making 25rwhp with a tune and intake

It should not affect the numbers with a black hood versus a non black hood. Also yes the hood does help seal off some air.

Would have been very interesting to see how it stacked up against the competition in Jannetty's independent test that was conducted a couple of months back...

Sorry, not drinking the koolaid just yet...

Not bashing LSR as they do make good products but there is no way you are comparing apples to apples with that chart. The noobs will drink the koolaid as dyno' don't lie!

Doubt you didn't "re-tune" for the new intake after the first tune was for the stock intake. Maybe you didn't add timing, but I promise you added fuel, and we all know, more air and more fuel equals power.

The stock run is not accurate and needs to be thrown out.

Mav

P.S. Nice looking intake!

Am I missing something? What is it about the design of this intake that makes it achieve such higher gains than other intakes based off the same design that utilize the stock scoop and location Don't get me wrong... if this intake delivers then I'll buy it!
