I am an electrical engineer as well. Floyd Fundamentals is correct in parallel circuits however the spark plug subject is not parallel circuits. Even with multiple ground points, the spark will take the path of least resistance. That may no be the closest ground btw. If you were able to slide a piece of plastic between the center electrode and the ground electrode the spark would take a different path to ground because of the resistance of the plastic. I have no idea if these E3 plugs would make a difference in the performance of my camaro but after reading the claims on their website I'm going to stay away from them.

I've got 5 engines from different makes that says otherwise. Yea e3 are great you'll have the baddest mower on the block I would never put them in a car. Don't believe what they say on power block, they get big money to pimp crappy parts. I'm with slow hawk I run ngk on everything, which technically are acdelco I've bought a few acdelco plugs that have ngk printed on them. Sometimes factory parts are just that good.

Anybody old enough to remember Splitfire plugs? Someone is always trying to reinvent the wheel.

worse than snake oil. snake oil just doesnt do anything for you these are just plain junk. there not good intentioned they are a scam. Magazines and tv shows like the block are just advertizing. they will tell you to put sand in your oil if a company that sells sand will pay them to. this thread is 4 years old

Boo to all the nay sayers E3 plugs are used by all top fuel cars because they are some of the best plugs on the market. Anybody who thinks oem plugs are the best don't understand the mass production of vehicles and how car companies save money by not putting the top of the line things on their cars.

You are aware that top fuel cars run basically jet fuel, and the plugs only have to the job for 3 second pass, then they get replaced for the next run. So, for a daily driven car run on at best, 93 octane most likely with 10% ethanol content, it's a completely different ballgame.

Oh, and in just the same spirit that the factory may use the cheapest parts, race teams will use whatever brand that will pay them to do so.

That said, I've never had any issues with AC Delco's serving their purpose for their expected life cycle.

Not saying anything against E3, or any other plug for that matter, just never used them.

SO : Insert picture of Spark Plug with 10 electrode tips all crowding around the center wire..... Caption: the z Ten Spark Master Pro , "no way you don't make more spark!", Dialogue: "Come on Vinny look at all those tips", Camera pans to two guys in hideous Green on tan leisure suits from the 70s filling up at a gas station while smoking and combing out their Fro with a pic and staring at a giant almost robotic giant spark plug display in the shape of the spark plug....... And CUT!

Yup glad I never went e3 from the different posts over the years....I have never used them I go NGK they have been reliable for me for like 40 years.....

And god whats with this Necro freaking ZOMBIE thread revival trend lately? LOL

I don't know about anybody else but I didn't buy a camaro so that my spark plugs could last however long life cycle I bought it so I could drive faster than the person next to me so any small thing that can increase that chance is what I'm going to use

Good luck w/that. Oh, I have designed a TB spacer that works kinda like a nitrous plate. It sprays more fuel into the intake manifold that gets mixes before the injectors. Makes 24whp guaranteed. Haven't dyno tested it yet, but my research and principles are sound so it must be good. Any takers? LOL
