Spark Plugs?

I was just wondering, as I just had some spark plugs replaced in a 3rd gen. (note: it's hard to do) And in a 4th gen, since the engine is half way under the windshield, how the h*ck do you change spark plugs, wires, and fix the distributor?

Remove wire boots at plugs, remove plugs, replace with new plugs, reconnect wires at plugs, and smoke big fat one to help convince one's self there is a distributor in there somewhere.

HAHAHA....I agree with the above comment. 4th gens are a pain in the but to replace...I can replace the plugs on the drivers side with ease...the first 2 on the passenger side but once you get to the back 2 on the passenger side I have to take them to a shop and get that done all because of that big freaking....well I better stop right there. Anyways good luck with getting them done....it does take alot of patienance

How about you start off by saying which year 4th generation f-body you have.

Apparently some have forgotten that not all 4th gen f-bodies came with an ls1, and some actually might have a distributer.

If you consider an Opti a distributor, carry on. And neglect what my sig says, though those rides are current. I know quite well what an LT1 is, and better yet, the opti isn't under the cowl, so back to his original post where he was inquiring about difficulty in servicing what ain't there. But hey, who am I to talk?
