Hey Kenster,

Did you get the mufflers and Resonated X? Just wondering, cause if so you may want to try just the mufflers by themselves first off and see how you like that. Did you listen to the video I posted above? Thats them. Once you try that, and if you like the sound and drone levels (which should be low) then you'll save yourself money by not installing the X. If it is too much for you then try the X, but I can say with confidence the mufflers alone shouldn't be overbearing. Definitely not as loud as say MBRP, MRT, or Loudmouth.

But I'm lovin my setup more each time I drive it...still got that great low tone and I'm thinking it is starting to get a bit throatier as time goes. After you've ran em for a little while on the road they seem to sound even better than at first, but that could still be due to the fact I still don't have a ton of miles on them. Still loving the sounds from inside the cabin....trust me the sounds are there when you hit it.

But as I've mentioned before, I'll eventually be going with a good cold air intake which I'm thinking is gonna add more growl to my setup....I really am looking forward to it very much!

Get them baby's installed! ....and then I hope to hear back from ya!

Well first I bought MF cat back, sound was different than stock. But I had the left muffler crashed in an accident.

I bought the axle back to replace the crashed ones, but wooow the tone was much higher and deeper.

That is really weird !!

Yeah, I'll listen to it after just the mufflers are on, but it seems that even with the X it'll be deeper and have more "presence" than stock, which is all I'm after. Should know in a few days!

Had all three put on Monday, and it's pretty sweet! Not much louder than stock, but deeper and less rasp when you punch it. Most of all, it's good to hear the engine rpms.
And my installer said I should have got the center/center muffler too, but even he was impressed at the job he did in the end.

Awsome kenster...if its anything like mine it should start to sound throatier as you drive more. What do you think of the sounds at cold start? It is particularly deep then which I just love.

What do you mean by center/center muffler? Not sure I know what you talking about. Theres the X and the two mufflers...can't think of anything else besides the resonaters, which I wouldn't call mufflers. Or are you just saying that your installed agreed that you should install the resonated x?

I really plan to add a either the AirRaid version 2, or the Injen CAI over the next month to month and a half. If u don't add one by then, I'll letcha know what that does to the sound.

Magnaflows with 2 CATs missing eh? Wow thats a mod I've not heard of anyone doing yet.

You doing a Tru X or resonated? Yours will be louder than my setup forsure, but hope it turns out good!

Well, the parts are in. Ordered the cans (11235) and the tips (35177) from Jegs and they all got here in 2 days! I'm going to the shop tomorrow to have it all put on. Already did the "before" video and pics. Once they are on and I have the "after" video and pics, I'll post 'em up. Can't wait to hear it and see it on the car!

Hope you enjoy them jakpot. You will likely be suprised on how low the tone is upon initial start up (cold start). I can't speak for how the drone is without the resonated X, so hopefully its all good!

Got it all put on today. Very happy with the results!!! It's not loud at all, unless you really punch the throttle. Then it lets you know it's there! During regular driving conditions, you barely notice it's even there which I like a whole lot. I'm a big music fan and I like to hear my tunes without the tone of the engine interfering. When you accellerate, the sound of the engine comes through nicely. And there is no drone at all.

Like you said, KMPrenger, the tone has a much more "deep" sound to it. And the tips look amazing! Totally dresses up the back end. The stock tips looked too small for the car. I've taken a few videos and pics before and after that I will post soon.

Thanks, KMPrenger! Appreciate you sharing.
