I'm with you Mike, but some are. I wasn't, you're aren't. But it's true some are.

ya thats very true. but most of the kids i know when nice cars, are not as reckless as kid with not as nice cars. if that makes sense. just seems like they have more respect for things. thats why when i see a kid on here with a 2ss. i feel they grew up differently and have different values. not the normal kid, if you will.

but of course this is not always the case, its just what i found when growing up with different groups of people.

Unfortunately camaro5 is a very small sample pool. I'd say the majority of teenage boys whom get a sports/muscle car wreck it in under a year. Example, my cousin got an IOM V6. Wrapped it around a tree street racing with his buddies. He lived, as did his 3 passengers, the car was totaled.

Oh sorry I was agreeing with you and then tried to make a point about floating the gears. I'm fixing it now. Sorry about that.

im so glad the 18 yr old posted back after a year, not cause i was doubting he would make it but because it shows that not all of us "kids" (im 20) are irresponsible like we are stereotyped to be!

If your a young male, you are never all there thinking straight. The thing is some of us growing up just never get caught or ever totally loose control.

Still...statistically, younger male have a tendency to wreck their cars than say someone older. Not saying that you are irresponsible like most in your age group. But lack of experience plus a lot of horsepower just don't mix.

Nice, like the follow-up.

A Camaro5 teen respects the car and it's following at least to some respect.

I'm 29 and my office had a pool running on when I get my first 2SS Speeding Ticket, these cars can bring out the fun, but you need to know when to use it.

**I did get a ticket while speeding, but it was for "Obstructing Traffic," what a nice cop

The problem is, people act like accidents don't happen on the track. If guys in NASCAR can crash I think any 16 to 100 year old can crash too. In the end it's all about how much you value your own life (short sighted youth often forget there own mortality). Dying in a car is a pretty easy thing to do, one should always keep that in the back of ones mind.

,,,,,,,,,,, I was visualizing the scenaio..............Kyle Busch was comming out of turn four at 170 miles per hour on the heels of the leading pack of cars and for no apparent reason..........slams his brakes. Tony Stewart was involved in the pursuing pile-up, Carl Edwards wins the points race!!!

My dad actually taught me how to do this and I can do it I was scared at first cause I didn't understand why I could pull it out of gear without a clutch haha

The Camaro clutch is VERY different from other cars.
