well, everything I was going to add to this thread has already been said, so let me just say that I'm 19 and a responsible driver but if I were to buy the SS camaro, I would kill myself driving it. And if I happened to survive the accident, I would kill myself again for destroying my dream car. Plus there's no way I could afford it. So it's the V6 for me, fully loaded, RS package and all. And I'm sure it will be fun.

do what i did. get yourself an older camaro (in my case a strait 78) and rebuild it. you will have so much more respect for the car, seeing that you built it. i dont care who you are, or what you drive. you cant beat the respect for his car than that of a man who built his car.

If you're 17, I agree with everyone here - get yourself the V6. If I was your dad, you would not be getting any 300HP car let alone 400HP, that's for sure!

yes, I am 19, in college and I am paying for the car, so my dad really has no say on if I get the V8 or V6...he wants the V8 though...Right now its the V8...
