I think it looks good with just the fronts.

Has anyone installed these with the factory ground effects? I drive down 1/10 of a mile of dirt road to get into my neighborhood and I noticed the magic speed is 15mph or less. If I keep it under 15 the tires wont pick up and throw rocks onto the rear quarters. Above 15mph and the stones start flying.

I put on all four about a month ago. So far no additional chips (crossing my fingers it continues). I think they look good. But I have put them on all my cars. For sure anyone thinking of putting them on, do it yourself. My dealer wanted $480 to put them on. I got them on E-bay - Genuine GM, in my car's color for $160. Hubby had them on in just a few minutes.

The paint problem has been discussed quite a bit -- there's definitely an issue.

But the water-based paint has been around a lot longer. The Third Gen guys are talking about it on their 1980s cars:

Question: has GM fixed this for 2011, or is this still a problem for the newer cars?

Sorry either ground effects or splash guards, you can only have one.

I dont mind the look of just the fronts, but all fours im not feeling. I almost ordered some myself, but opt-out at the last minute.

I have a Noah car cover on my camaro and my neighbors can not tell what is under it. I installed the OEM yellow splash guards and you still can not tell what is under the cover, but you can tell it must be yellow. The splash guards are the only thing showing out from under the cover. I think they look just fine and will help protect the body for the long haul.
