I just cant see a 370Z hanging with a Camaro SS.The camaro is just too much for that little asian car.As for the GTR thats not a fair compairison to the Camaro.Thats there flagship super-car.Put it against the mighty ZR-1 and see how it does.

The GTR is a VERY overrated car. I could think of soooooo much more that I could buy and do with the money.

Its also $80k... I hope the GT-R would for that kinda money! The SS IMO is not really a track star, but just put some bolt-ons cam and blower and you would have money to spare and being making any Jap car nervous!!

I think if you put the same amount of money into the camaro that many of these exotics cost, the Camaro would rape all and come out to be a faster car,.....for less. lol.

A GTR starts at 80k,....
Our SS tops out at about 36k-40 if you get it decked out with everything.
For 80k, you'd have a Camaro that out-performs many supercars, including the GTR. All wheel drive won't help you against 700+rwhp, especially once we hook up.

Why are we talking about the GTR? Wesman said 'damn near every', leaving a little room for cars such as the GTR and LFA.

As for the 370Z, it looks like its a paper tiger. Seems like it should be a pretty even match for the SS, but in reality the Camaro almost always has the advantage.

the 370z would still get beat by the SS pretty bad 426 hp to i believe 330 which the 370z has even tho its even lighter than the 350 and has more hp thats just still alot of hp to close the gap on

Oh, ....the GTR only came up because of the "camaro will beat pretty much every performance car japan throws at it" statement.

Yeah, ....the 370 looks good on paper,....until you get in it and hit the gas.

Damn, good job Corvette and Camaro on this 1. They beat all of their target rival cars. Look at even the Grand Sport kicking ass and taking names. The 370Z was a Nismo and still did that bad? I think this post sums up the road course debate right here.

no, its Lamborghini

and im going to have to agree. the 370z...not that great. after test driving one and racing one around a couple tracks i always dominated it. there were literally seconds between my stang and the 370z around a 2 mile track (im sure most of that is due to driver skill differences though).
