How about some smooth ones for $329... paint to match...


The CF one sells for $430
The Stainless set sells for $388 for top and both sides

For 795 a side (probably less for whoever gets to Abear first for them to test fitments on the New Camaro) you can have engine bay pr0n that looks like this.











Abear enclosed rocker covers. They have a cavity for your coil packs and the top pops off of them for access.

i'm thinking about doing my own paint job on the engine cover. good idea or bad idea?

I don't know much about paint however you would need paint durable enough to withstand the heat in there. Perhaps someone familiar with this can chime in as to what type of paint would you need for painting the cover yourself..

Engine cover don't get hot enough to affect paint. I would let a reputable body shop paint it tho, rattle can will look like crap.
