The engine cover is just about the only thing I hate about this car...and it's the only part I'm interested in replacing with aftermarket. I really hope GM gets the message on this one and does something about it.
You don't see Ford putting this crap on the Mustang...I mean look how much better the Bullit motor looks stock over this fake cover junk:

hmf. I seem to be the only one who prefers the look of a nicely-executed engine cover over a bunch of wires and hoses......

Nope, I'd rather open the hood and see the cover too. I only want to see all the wires, belts, and hoses when I'm in there to fix something or install aftermarket parts.

The corvette's cover enough of the ignition coils and other extraneous wiring, etc, but leaves the intake runners exposed. I think it's just right. IMO, the new engines being completely just don't have the good looks of an old 60's-70's SBC. |

The problem isn't because there is A cover it's because it's THAT cover....bulky and cheap looking. I would gladly put the LS3 Corvette covers on, but would prefer it to say Camaro. |

![]() EDIT: I still have the FRCs off my wrecked GTO. They make a nice wall fixture, but that's about it. I pulled them off the day I bought the car.
