No way man, minor speedbump. Take off the bowtie and paint it. You could probably do it yourself. It'll take one Saturday afternoon to make everything right.

I know hindsight is 20/20 but next time you have a paint job done have the painter do a small test panel. It may cost you a few extra bucks in the big picture but in the end you pretty much know what shade you will end up with. I always have my paint guy do a test panel on a flexible, flat piece of scrap metal. If it flexes you can bend it alittle to see different angles and also take it out in the sunlight to see what it looks like compared to being under artificial lighting.

I got it done for $350. It's PPG paint or something with a lifetime warranty. Like I said, the guy did a great job with the stripes. I just noticed the color difference and became a little disappointed. I probably will mail in the bowtie to him and tell him to use the same paint for that.

WOW....$350 is dirt cheap. You got a smokin deal. My painter wanted $1,500 and I've seen several in the $800-$1,200 range. He did a fantastic job...especially for that price.

Did they clear coat the car as well?

Yeah the paint is clear coated too! I think the gloss stands out better than the matte vinyl stripes on the factory ones.

Wow...$350? Thats like just paying for the materials and getting the labor for free.
