Painted Rally Stripes...Old Style
I love the '69 Camaro. By far my favorite car! I just got my Rally Stripes painted on today and the stripes turned out perfect. I got them wide like the '69 and they go down the front fascia. However the color I was going for was like that of the bowtie. I gave a swatch of "Cherry Red" that I used to match the bowtie with, but for some reason they're different. I like the job just wish they matched... :(

Like the design but I agree. If the stripes were supposed to match the bowtie I would honestly have told the shop they needed to redo it. It would be one thing if the colors were just slightly off but that is not even close.

I like the look and have considered doing the same thing in white for my Camaro but I don't think I would have left the shop with the car after seeing the mismatch of colors. If they were supposed to color match the bowtie, then they messed up and need to make it right.

Looks good to me, the bowtie may fade slightly in time anyway, I would not be upset, I like it, you have to really look close to tell they don't match.

Take it back, tell them it dosnt match, they should do it for free there mistake.
