It's certainly reinforces the primary nature of how this family of products work from more of a practical level rather then just a theoretical one.

To recap what I've written earlier in this thread
http://camaro5.com/forums/showpost.p...&postcount=362

It's the above reason that everyone who's purchased the 25mm item for their street duties have been quite happy and surprised with the real world performance of the product. If people religiously hang around the 5-7k power band mark then better value could be had with going a shorter item.

In saying that though I'm sure our plenum spacer which we'll be posting out to some people soon will improve top end performance (even with the 25mm item) by primarily improving air distribution and not just cooling
Hmmm hmm.... more for the LLT!!??

This is probably the best time for us LLT folks and only getting started!

Is the plenum spacer different from the insulator? I am confused where does the plenum spacer sit?

the plenum is an air chamber that distributes air to the various cylinders which helps equalize air flow. general plenum volume is approximately 80% of engine capacity for naturally aspirated engines. too large of a plenum and you lose throttle response...too small and your Peak power is at a lower RPM.

What is a plenum spacers and what does it do?
A Plenum spacer is a special spacer that sits between your plenum cover and intake manifold. Its main purpose is to improve air distribution (like our twin throttle manifold) between cylinders by slowing down the air speed inside the plenum chamber. As a result there is less of a pressure drop inside the plenum chamber between cylinders, and less air momentum, resulting in better air distribution and power. The change in airflow characteristics is shown in the diagram below.

Not only will our spacer help you make more power, it will also help prevent any costly rebuilds through dangerous lean outs that occur with these standard manifolds in high horsepower/boost applications (due to poor air distributions).
In addition to improving air distribution between cylinders, the increase in plenum volume also increases low down torque.
Made from the same thermal resistant composite material as our manifold insulators, means that further horsepower gains are to be had due to the reduction in air temperature. For further information about the material properties please check out our manifold insulators on auction

What's Included
Plenum spacer, longer plenum screws, and gasket maker. Basically everything you need for the insulation

What about installation?
Installation is very straight forward, requiring only the removal of your plenum cover to install the plenum spacer.

Thanks guys, looks like an insanely easy installation . . . looking forward to seeing some hands on reviews!

Here's how the plenum spacer looks. Will elaborate more when I get more of a chance later on.
