Yes I ripped my left axle twice and my right once....so I raised it back up to help alleviate the ripping. Did you just replace the entire half shaft or just the boots?

Last question - are you full gloss wheels prone to scratches? I've never seen that personally, but someone one the corvetteforum said get semi gloss to prevent that.

They are only prone to swirls. One rock chip on one that I touched up. Do what you think looks best!
