That is true. but yo know how that goes. Drivers still will input addresses even when driving.

For us 2012 guys, what will happen to our back up camera in the mirror. can you unplug it in the mirror and plug it into the head unit or is it built into the connector that goes in the mirror. If it is possible to connect it to the head unit, what will the mirror display when you go into reverse.

This is why I think they should have it tied into the passenger seat airbag sensor. The sensor can tell if a person is sitting there or not, why not use that signal to allow the use of the screen again.

What about the guys who do use Onstar?

I suspended mine while in winter storage but think I'll be cancelling my service after. I got it because I locked my keys in once it wasn't active at the time so I had to wait until my 2nd set was delivered to me. I figured I'd sign up so I could use the app in case this ever happened again.

I can't really say I use the service. If anything I think I may take this head unit and combine it with bluestar box.

I wonder can we split the antenna though in case people do want to keep the onstar functions?

That still doesn't answer the question if this works for the people who do use onstar though

The answer is simple, use some splitter or use the antenna what is in the kit.
