I was explaining what we just did to it and giving him hp numbers, when the guy next to me, whom I couldn't see because of the gas pump, peaked his head around it and said "I'm jealous!". I said thanks but was embarrassed because here I am a woman driving this incredible car with two girls strapped in the back seat and these two men were lusting after my ride.

OMG Love IT!
Love this thread! Read it lots, post very little.
Being a gear head isn't just reserved for the guys or certain types of females who get stereotyped! I'm as feminine as they get -- jeans or 5" heels, grease under the nails or diamonds dripping from my hands!  Had to share my joy! Beau's been a racer for years (me just on the street). Been down the drag strip about a dozen times and pulled a tripple zero reaction time Friday night. That's three ten-thousands off a perfect light. Now before anyone starts bashing the time or the speed, realize I'm still completely stock, DA, not adjusted, was 7500, track has just been sealed so it was slicker than all get out with no groove! I've had better times and my top speed down the track last year was 104. (Our track's elevation is almost 5,000 feet) Mod away ladies! I'm keeping mine stock for now but Camaro5 threads are making it harder and harder. In the meantime, I'm living vicariously through all of your mods!
