Basically, you will be doing more to it just to catch up to some of us. Ahhh, I doubt you understand. Careful what you wish for there V6 man.
This is by far the dumbest arguement i have ever read. We're talking about "class" on reguards to SS vs v6. Therefor the Z28 would be top dog, therefor belittling your SS, and belittling the V6. Reguardless if you mod your SS or not, its still less then the Z28.
I could mod a V6 to beat your SS, You can mod an SS to beat the Z, you can also mod a shitty civic to beat em all. Whats your point? On the topic of classifiying a vehicle, a V6 will always be less of a car as the SS, as the same goes for the SS in terms of the Z28. Reguardless as to what is faster. Going back to the topic, the V6 is not a muscle car because it doesnt have an v8.
Honestly, i wont be surpirsed here if members start posting pics of there Junk next to there camaro just to see whose dick is bigger.

i am not saying the v6 is not a fast car its a fast car for the average driver ... but its not a true blooded american muscle car.

the SS man not be a true blooded american muscle car either, but its the closest thing we have
Maybe I should have been clearer. IMHO, I don't consider the V6 a muscle car, but I do consider the V8 as the muscle car for our era. In America, the Camaro was the first of the big three coupes to have a V6 with more power over previous generations. Now, the Mustang V6 has more power and the Challenger V6 will have more power coming soon.

To sum it all up, I think the V8 is a muscle car for our time. And, the V6 holds a higher place than it has in the past.

I looked over the weekend at Camaro pricing here.

Capitol Chevy has a 2LT for $32,400 and a 1SS for $33,985. And both are new cars.

Why do people keep comparing the 2LT against the 1SS? I just don't get that.

Heated leather seats, upgraded audio, bluetooth, things like that are more important
to some folks than more power, esp. in daily drivers.

If you want to compare prices, compare a 1LT to a 1SS and a 2LT to a 2SS - if you
find a 2SS for the cost someone paid for their 2LT, then call them crazy.

I dont think anyone really bashes the v6 ? I just think if you got the v6 you wanted more of a daily driver and theres nothing rong with that. But dont compare a v6 to the ss like i see all the time. And also i think some of the v6 owners are a little paranoid for example
( Myself in a thread "yea i test drove both and i just didnt like the outcome of the v6 compared to the v8 back to back"
Another user obviously a v6 owner " WTF is that sposed to mean the v6 is the same car and with a turbo would probly beat your overpriced ss anyday" )
i was kinda pissed lol

Huh? If you were around for the 60s you would know the SS was top dog. 1st gen Z28s were built to compete in TransAm road racing. As stout as the 302 was, top dog against a 396 SS? Possibly, but I doubt it.
