I've heard a lot of good things about you guys... too bad you're WAY up there. (relative to me) Keep up the good work!
Might have gotten my 3rd gear synchro fixed, but it's a long drive for a possible "No problem found" remark.

I love the excuse that the shifter is the cause for the 1-2 shift problem.

I'm hoping my new shifter and the Synchromax will help with my 2-3 gear grind, but if not, Mike @ RMCR has already given me a good heads-up on what is most likely wrong in the trans and he can fix it. 7500 miles and on my third GM clutch and it still shifts like a tank. Can't wait to afford an upgrade!

3 clutches in a 7500 miles... some deff wrong there. I would have the Slave, master... checked and or replaced...

Also yes the Synchromax does help alot with shifting in these tranny...

Recommend it to anyone with a T56

3rd clutch actually went in around 5K miles. Just got tired of messing with it.
I had them replace the slave and master the first time thru, after showing them much online information, and they did just that. Clutch felt better, but after I drove it maybe a week, I went back and told 'em that the clutch felt super stiff again and asked them to re-bleed the slave. They checked it and then ripped it all apart and put in another clutch instead, since GM had updated the parts again. It feels better now, but still not 100%. I've driven 3 other Camaros that have really nice clutches, all stock, and they feel right. Each time the mechanic said nothing was wrong with the 3rd gear synchro. Figured it was an easy fix since the tranny was out, but apparently not. Obviously the guy never drove it out of the shop, 'cause any shift over 2000 rpm's without double-clutching causes it to catch and grind.
Whenever I find a spare $4500 (yeah..) I will replace all the lines, throw-out bearing, master and slave with the all aluminum and braided setup from Keisler, get a dual-disk clutch and replace all the plastic and stamped steel parts inside the trans. Until then, the cheap fix is the shifter and fluid and just keep hating the clutch for another year or so. I hope there's enough of the 3rd gear left when I finally decide to get it fixed. lol

the dealer didnt find any problems inside trans because it only pays 2 hours to totally rebuild it under warranty. I am sure they never looked inside

Nice. I figured that the guy was scared to crack the case open, but for two hours of labor, there's no way the svc manager would approve that anyway. I heard that "if" a problem is actually found, in other words, if the service manager or mechanic drove the car and said the synchro was bad, that the tranny repair was a GM parts swap, not something that they would actually attempt to repair. Either way, it's all in my head and someday, out of my wallet. I've beaten this horse on another forum here already, so let's move on with some more fun stories of spending money on stuff that's gonna REALLY void our warranties. Those are much more fun!

Yeah I called back and got in touch with the guy who over sees the Service manager and because he would have to send back from the muffler to the front coupling tie in to the cats it would include my Qtp cutout tie in. So I've got to take care of this on my own.

How much do you want for them and would it just be the mufflers? I'm in Longmont.

oh and I have the vibration in the muffler too, seems to be the worst at around 1800 rpm.

Are you sure its not the skip shift thats causeing your problem . Mine was frustrating me when I was going from 1 st to 2 nd then I noticed that the skip shift was coming up making you go from 1st to 4th , not sure thats your problem but you might check that out. SLP make a skip shift eliminator
