I think my favorite part is how they taped over the "Camaro" badge...
Like anyone can mistake that sheetmetal for another car. ![]() This is neat. I'm surprised to see very little cosmetic changes...BUT -- it's likely there are more that don't effect the powertrain performance they've left for testing on another model. And I wonder if the Quad Tail pipes are for integrating the Corvette's dual-mode exhaust...unholy would describe it. ![]() EDIT: And I happen to remember ALLLL too well that last piece of paper we got excited over... It said..... "Shunt In Trunk"

Perhaps they reduced the size of the "Camaro" and added a slightly larger "Z28" right after it? Though...frankly, I doubt it. There's no other exterior modifications...no spoiler, no hood, no vents, nothing. Even the wheels aren't factory. So why waste the effort on putting on a to-spec badge just to tape it up? I think it may be the light and camera playing with our eyes on a simple goofed-up taping of the name. |

Looking at it again. I think you're right.
The letters look straight in some of the pictures and crooked in others. |

And what would be your definition of reasonable?
I hope no one expects to pay less than a GT500, because if I were a betting man, I would say it would be a "premium over a similarly equipped mustang." Just trying to get an idea of what people expect to pay. |

But as of right now, I'm looking at a CTS-V and comparing it's price to the Camaro using the base models. That sets it around the upper 40s. Rudimentary, I know....but I think it's the best gauge. ![]() Keep in mind....I don't NEED a car with this much...'stuff'. Stuff being heritage, performance, style, prestige, etc....But my Dad has a '79 Z28 sitting in his garage right now...all-original. And it was the car that introduced me to Camaros...This makes the namplate very emotional for me; I would LOVE to honor his (and him) by buying myself a Z28 and keeping it forever... But I'm not gonna plunge myself into bad credit/debt...so we'll see.

I don't know if I want to trade in my SS, or if i want to wait 2-3 years after college to buy one.
Or if I might as well wait for a 6th gen by then? |

+1 might have to trade in the wife's traverse and she gets the SS & I get the Z
I think the side badging could say "supercharged Z/28" I do believe that is a Pedders Suspension vehicle there....First thing I said to the wife was.."look at the meat (tires) on that car" Also, the chevy emblems could be covered cause they could say "Z28", "LSA", "LS9", "Supercharged", etc. in the center of them.

Now I could be wrong, it's happened once or twice before, but the Vette is Chevy's Pride and Glory. Haven't they typically put all the "good stuff" in the Vettes first? But on top of all that....Chevy?...a V12? Just seems unlikely |
