Fhrex, I'm also considering the gill stickers. I saw ones with a fade that looked pretty nice.

I agree, the faded gills are beautiful. I was really torn myself, but loved the gills on my son's 2012 Transformers edition SS, so I selected the matte black. The faded do look remarkably like a shark's gills.

Skellcat, where did you buy your gill decals, and would you choose the same place again?

Application looks fairly simple, was it?

Did you choose the gloss black or matte black set of these fender gill stickers?

I purchased mine from SLP performance. They are the Matte set Item # 100047A. They were on backorder when I ordered so it took 2 months to get them but it was Winter time so I was in no hurry. They may be caught up now? They promptly called me when I placed my order and said it may be a while and asked if I wanted to cancel the order so communication was great. They come shipped in a hard round container which protected them very well. Install was very easy so long as you pay attention, as they are marked for which side they go on. I ordered a small bottle of Rapid Tack decal spray to help with application. The best decal spray you can use IMHO as I have done several racecar decals in the past with this. Hope this helps, definitely adds to the look of the car.

you gotta just love the Spring Specials. I had to get rid of the 21"s though far too expensive for tire replacement. They are in the garage so I can throw them on for special occasions.
