[B]This is to all the serious power engine lovers out there....I have ordered the LS3. I am concerned and maybe others are, about the fuel for this engine. Even tho' I have ordered and won't receive for some time, want to know about safe additives for premium unleaded...or any info you can give me..that will be the 'right stuff' Any help would be appreciated...thanks

Why would you want any? 91 octane or higher (up to Sunoco Ultra 94). Anything higher or added is a waste IMO. Your PCM will adjust to what it wants anyways.

Got my 2nd Letter 1 21 09 with picture of victory red,like I ordered,2SS/RS Picture Dated 10 13 2008 With order number. My picture is number 306.What are some other picture numbers ?

Ordered 10/15/08, but didn't get a letter or picture yet. A little worried.

Ground effects, Silver Ice, Blk VZG Stripes, Sunroof, 20" Polished, Premium Audio system, Hurst shifter, V8-Manual.

Just to update the survey, and because as excited as I was I am now even more excited I just changed my order from 2LT to 2SS!!! this things gonna be a monster!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You!!!!!! Yes I have a workbench order number and the event history says "accepted". I was just a little concerned reading all the posts from those excited about their letters and pictures.

Put $1000 down on one at the dealership i work at in Canada, got my confirmation number, i just haven't decided on all the options yet, I need pictures, please help!!! They were pretty pissed when i asked for employee discount saying "forget it! we're only allowed 5 of these cars!!"

-Gonna be a 2SS
-6 speed Hurst throw
-Hoping for black leather interior with SS embroidery
- I want yellow with the ralley stripes i believe, but the sales department and parts department don't have any pictures of the stripes yet, and can't tell me the difference in the stripe options! i want black stripes like the grey ones on the red car there, i just don't know which ones to tell them!
-I'm scared to go with the chrome 21's because I work in the service department and I've seen more OEM chrome wheels come back looking for warranty than i can remember.

I just got back from the dealer from placing my order today and I'm #6 of 22 alocated but #2 of the LT.
The delaler is E-mailing me the GM order tomorrow he said.
It's there a web site to track the orders from GM or get notification of the progress.

I ordered:
LT2 RS IOM
sun roof
Hurst Short shift
Black Leather
engine color match cover

I wanted polished finished Wheels but was told by the inventory manager that if I order the RS with the 20" wheels I can't do the polished finish so I didn't is that correct?
