Its not the right place, at least you admit to not knowing. Go here up until your car is produced and you have a VIN http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...13#post1051613

And go here after you get a VIN http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22850

Maintenance

Newbie here. Can anyone provide a thread in reference to oil changes, synthetic vs regular oil? Placed my order in May, still waiting at 1100 - dealer says I'm their next camaro to be picked - but I want to get ahead of the curve.. Any particular brand oil, etc. I read somewhere of getting the oil changed at 100 or 500 miles, then 1000 etc. to keep the metal shavings during breakin to a minimum with a V8.

Anybody help a lady out? Comments?

I dumped mine under 1000 miles but I'm pretty anal and I refuse to listen to the common sense people have written in that thread.

I ordered my Camaro in late September and was informed that my production date is on monday. I live in Lexington, North Carolina. Does anyone know an approximate date for when it should arrive at the dealorship?
Thanks!

If your dealer is knowledgable and honest they shoudl be able to let you know how far in line you are and when your order will start moving, if they aren't willing to do that might better find another place.
I have preliminary order detail. Any idea what allocation group(CAM) means?? Thanks

Okay big event today got code of "2500 Order preferenced" never got a 2000 code so obviously it has been accepted by GM, right? Never thought I would be this excited about a car but I can't wait to drive this baby home.
