They are nice "image" cars, but as far as the "total package", the SS is hands down way ahead. When it comes down to it, the Challengers are just 300Cs or Chargers with prettier sheet metal....

As far my old R/T being quicker, yeah it probably was, but not much. I am actually headed to the track tomorrow with the SS to get some baseline #s before my mods start arriving.... I doubt it will take much to surpass the 112mph trap speed of the R/T.....

I would get a 370Z if the Camaro was never made, 2011 Mustang GT would be my 3rd choice, Challenger never... I want a car not a boat lol

Boat? Maybe, but it's a fast, hot, sexy boat.

Thank you!! That is what I was looking for.

You are very welcome. The "Z" (as the Challenger members call it) is a great site. Register and have fun!

I like the fact that the base SE model comes with nice wheels and a power driver's seat. They are selling SE's around here for 21.5K. A nice comfy driver but needs some mods to give it a dual exhaust and some boost for the 250hp 3.5L.

The old 3.5 250HP is a fine engine..just old and needs replacement with something with more go-go.

The "Pentastar" 6 that is coming out, with between 280 and 290 HP, will improve it alot.

Thats fine, imo it is just too rounded and bloated looking. I like cars with sharp and aggressive angles.

I really, really, really dislike the Challenger. It looks "good", but I find the other two far more attractive. And every other factor is against it, imo.

That said, the Mustang is nice. I intend of buying a Z28, some day....if for some reason that doesn't happen -- I'll be looking for a GT500 (or a Vette....).
