If the choice was 60k and buy either a camaro or a shelby, shelby all the way.

If the choice was 60k and buy a car, id go with a used Z06.

I buy whatever I want, and I chose the Camaro. My first car ever was a '69 Camaro, so I'm partial to the body style. New GT500 would be a fun car too, but it is still just an overpriced Mustang.

hmm i would get a gt500 and a challenger, but i wouldnt get a gt500 until they fix that horrible new looks of the mustang... the rear really makes me wanna

and the interior on the middle console looks soo plain like the corvette.. just early 00's and late 90's interior...

I don't hate everything Ford... but I really dislike the new style of Crustang/Disgustang/Fast Only Rolling Downhill cars. The gt500 looks just too big and clunky for me. Give me a Saleen mustang any day over the shelby gt500.... now a 67 gt500 I would drive

Yes I would have still got a camaro or a corvette. The amount of horsepower it has nor the make will no way affect my decision cause in my opinion, the shelby is still and brutally ugly vehicle. I like a lot of vehicles, but the new stangs are definitely not on my list of cars I want. Now, lets talk about the old shelby's...

Nope, I wouldn't have touched the Shelby. I had a Mustang in the past and I was less than impressed with the quality of the car. It felt to mechanical and very rigid to drive. Plus the leather seats made me feel as though I was slipping off every time I got in it.

I'd think if you took 2 cars, 1 shelby and one of the tuned Camaros out there (SLP, Hennessey, Berger, Nickey, or Lingenfelter) You would see more people pointing to the camaro than the mustang.

I feel dollar for dollar the Camaro will be able to provide more enjoyment than the mustang...
