Maybe if GM could cut the Camaro down to 2900 lbs and make it a 300 HP hybrid- I think 30 MPG in the city would be welcome!!!....I always thought burning gas while waiting in traffic was stupid -yes I suppose I could cut the motor off but why not have technology do it?

Some one needs to tell Jack (don't know jack s--t) and his morons if they like Honda so much they need to compare it to the Accord Coupe ... same power to weight ratio, same size within MM's (that's Canadian talk eh) and there is a Honda plant down the road in Allison ONT. IT ONLY MAKES 39,000 VEHICLES A YEAR so I give GM the money (loan) based on contribution. And Camaro retails for less up here than the Accord.

GM is not calling this a muscle car ...it's a world class "compact"

Personally I like not having to pay $50k for my car...apparently you would not have a problem with paying Corvette premiums for a Camaro.

I've said this before in another post, but I'll say it again. The powers that be want us all to become sheep! The elitists want us all to conform to their smug doctrines. Unfortunately, they will eventually accomplish their mission. And they'll do it because people take what freedom they have, ( or what they think they still have ) for granted. So much of it starts off when our kids enter school. What's being taught, as well as what's not allowed to be taught speaks volumes! The teachers, ( some intentionally, some unintentionally ) are teaching our kids a socialist / communist way of thinking, and ridicule students who express different views. They make communism sound like the best thing since sliced bread, while in it's real world application it fails miserably!!! In addition, a student who doesn't conform won't get top grades! They won't promote those who don't go along with their ideology.

As far as cars go, there will be a day in the not too, too distant future where all the new cars will basically be the same. If you want a pickup truck with any kind of power, you may have to apply for a permit and maybe even have to show cause why you need one. And all of our old cars, ( like my old Trans Am ) will be outlawed someday. Here in leftist California, it's already happening with some of the ridiculous smog laws.

Guys, hear me on this....If you want one of these new Camaros, especially one of the V8's, get it while the gettin's good! Times are changing, they're not going to be around forever!
