I am a fan of always putting some kind of disposable or cheap floor mat over the stock ones. i like the clear thin $5 mats, they will save 99% of all abust to the stock floor and mats.

I like my titanium grey carpets also. Makes the car look more open or bright inside. Easy to spot treat the carpets with a sponge and some cleaner.

I originally wanted the contrasting grey interior on my white Camaro. That was until I realized the carpet was light grey. My CTS-V had beige seats and beige carpet with the black dash and doors....hated the carpet part

I ordered grey interior on my blk 2ss, not realizing it was quite so light. Then a fellow member asked if anyone wanted to trade the grey seats for his black ones.

I now have a totally one of a kind car (I think). I do have the grey carpet, but I have the all black leather seats instead of the two tone grey. I thought that was a huge improvement. The dealer had gottena black pen mark on my passenger seat when I first took it in for warranty. It was tough to remove, but I got it off. Then I just worried about how dirty the seats would get. Now that I have the black, no worries anymore. And the two different colors look good, I am happy with the switch that we made!!!

I've had several cars with grey carpets, I prefer it over black or beige to keep clean and appeal to the eye. My RS has a dark enough grey carpet that I'm happy with it. I have carpeting over my floormats, a rubberback non-slip house carpet, but it keeps the stock stuff covered. Dennis isn't even allowed in my Camaro in his work clothes/boots because he's a logger and when he's done working he is a total mess. My big dogs aren't allowed and my little dog is assigned a seat and clipped in.
