hell, for the people getting the high rise spoiler, they should demand that GM put stripes wrapping all the way around the spoiler so that it is visible from any angle.

I'll look at the poll -- but until you see them in person, I think you should withhold judgement. Keep in mind that we must keep this car affordable ... .........now -- you say "but it's only a couple of more dollars to wrap the stripes!" -- ........and you'd be right -- BUT - we have fistfights over 25 cents a car. (well -- not fistfights..) Stripes must be able to be put on without error - and they must be put on within a given timeperiod on the assembly line. bottom line? Several ways to do this: >Factory installed >Dealer installed >aftermarket installed >painted on The choice is up to you! |

Sorry but I don't agree -- show me one car in the past century that's had more enthusiast input than the Camaro. Not everyone agrees with the stripe issue. See my post above....you have several choices. |

So any word on
"The hockey stick stripe package comes with hockey stick stripes down the side, a large stripe down the hood and trunk of the car which is about the width of the raised area of the hood, and a back panel black out treatment decal" We seen the RS production ones now what are these going to be like, over or not, and is back panel blk out treatment for sure? really wish some cars with this package come soon to view |

but only if they dont cover the front fascia. but they have to go over the bottom of the spoiler, oh, and they have to wrap around the edges, regardless of if they might peel off, oh, and they have to fit into the mail slot so its one continuous flow from front to back, oh, and the hockey stripes have to have a perfect 36:1 decreasing ratio from start to finish over the length of the stripe.

Most of you guys sound like a buch of nagging old women. If you don't like it, do it yourself or have someone else do it, but just remember no to cry when you go to sell it and the buyer questions your "taste" or if you go to trade it and the dealership starts questioning why you screwed with the factory paint.
I'll be keeping mine all original with the factory-applied stripe package, after all, how much would a '67 Z-28 be worth with the original paint and stripes right now? (I know, more than 602 2010 SS's will be built!) |
